Exploring Entropy through Lens

Throwback Thursday 004

I want to share some of my pictures from the most happening city in the world, New York City. This picture was my first ever attempt at Image Stitching technique. It came out so well, that I think so far only I was able to tell where the stitching didn’t go well. During this trip to NYC, I went there with my friends during my masters. It was technically my first ever trip to NYC, sightseeing. We were walking across the Brooklyn bridge, and from the halfway point, I got this beautiful view of the entire NYC skyline. So, I took a chance and capture 6 images in panoramic format, and later stitched them together in Photoshop.

Another fun fact, I didn’t use a tripod here. I learnt a skill from my friend Andrey, where I hold the camera close to my body in firm stance and then slightly turn at the hip for each image. This worked out great.

I have one more shot of the symmetrical Brooklyn bridge from the same location. Dabbled a little with playing abstract.

Next week, I have one of my favorite pictures from the NYC series. This was completely random and happened by chance, but it was amazing.
